Geyser / Floodgate
Track Bedrock Edition players connecting through Geyser. Analyse automatically detects Bedrock players by their Floodgate username prefix and tags them separately in your analytics.
Setup
Step 1: Check Your Floodgate Prefix
Look at your Floodgate config to find your username prefix:
username-prefix: "."
Common prefixes: . (default), *, _
Step 2: Configure Analyse
Set the same prefix in your Analyse config:
Paper:
bedrock-prefix: "."
Velocity / BungeeCord:
{"bedrockPrefix": "."}
Step 3: Verify
Have a Bedrock player join and check the console:
[DEBUG] Join event sent for .Steve (bedrock: true)
How It Works
1
Bedrock player connects via Geyser
2
Floodgate prefixes username (e.g., ".Steve")
3
Analyse detects the prefix
4
Player tagged as Bedrock in analytics
Platform Analytics
Once configured, you can:
- See Java vs Bedrock player counts
- Filter all analytics by platform
- Compare retention and revenue between platforms
- Ask AI questions like "How many Bedrock players joined this week?"
Campaign Attribution
Campaigns work the same for Bedrock players. When a Bedrock player connects via youtube.myserver.net:19132, they're attributed to your YouTube campaign just like Java players.
